IPL/ Skin Rejuvenation Laser: $220

Pixel Skin Resurfacing Laser: $440

Eclipse Micro-needling: $350

If you have significant sun damage, wrinkles, dry skin, aging changes or any acne or other scars, then you may need effective laser resurfacing as this treatment targets the color, tone and texture of the skin. A similar, non-laser, less downtime option would be the micro-needling procedure by the Eclipse Micropen.

This also works well for people seeking treatment for skincare problems ranging from brown spots, sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, loss of volume and uneven skin tone. As the skin ages, collagen and elastin production is reduced. Collagen and elastin are two fundamental elements that help maintain strong, elastic, and healthy appearing skin. When collagen and elastin are lost, hormonal changes, sun exposure, and environmental factors cause the skin to sag, appear more thin, and have more visible signs of damage.

Our Skin Rejuvenation (IPL) or Pixel laser technology penetrates deep into the skin and the latter creates many tiny holes in the skin. This induces deep-seated heating that further stimulates collagen formation and promotes widespread healing of the skin. It helps improve uneven skin tones, fill in deep lines and reduce scarring and sun damage by promoting growth of new collagen and elastin while minimizing the signs of aging.

This procedure does leave a sunburned look for about two days followed by peeling on days 3-4. It can be done on the face, neck, chest, upper arms, hands, and back and it is highly recommended that you do the face, neck and chest together to keep the skin’s appearance consistent. That said, the internal heating can cause some degree of blistering or swelling in some people with sensitive skin. The reddish or blushed appearance of the skin that is expected to exist for just a few hours after the treatment might not resolve for some days and can slowly take the shape of a bruise. This does gradually resolve over time.

As aforementioned, most patients have multiple skincare concerns so using a combination of various lasers in concert will improve these combination aging-skin conditions. This procedure can be done as frequently as 1 month apart and some clients with deep acne scarring may need up to 3-5 treatments.

We strongly recommend:

  • That you keep your skin moisturized while you are healing.
  • Avoid any other products besides those recommended for you until your skin is completely healed
  • If you have a history of cold sores, try to obtain a prescription of an antiviral medication and start taking it prior to your treatment to prevent a cold sore outbreak.
  • Use a sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30 (EltaMD is our recommended brand) to prevent pigment change with sun exposure.
